THE TOUR : 

Recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, the Chartres Cathedral is still considered today as an important centre for Christian pilgrims. Famous for its stained-glass windows and wonderful colors dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries known as the "bleu de Chartres" - (the blue of Chartres), this tour offers a deeper insight into this historical shrine. 


ITINERARY : 
We cross Paris by the southern districts where we join the motorway. 
Our route leads us by the Beauce region where the long stretches of wheat fields give this part of the country the reference : "le grenier à blé de la France" - France's bread basket. We arrive at Chartres around 15h15. Our guide conducts a full guided visit of the Cathedral followed by free time for clients to explore and enjoy Chartres on their own.
